Here’s a notice about an event coming up soon – it would be great if you could be there.
Unbound proudly presents four of our talented writers in…
Battle of the Pitches
Help our authors crowdfund their way to publication and YOU decide the winner!
- Jennie Ensor, author of Ghosts of Chechnya
- Ian Skewis, author of A Murder Of Crows
- Martine McDonagh, author of Things We Can’t Undo
- Phyllis Richardson, author of The House Of Fiction
The event promises to be lots of fun with author pitches, readings, question and answer sessions and an opportunity to support your favourite book by pledging live online (easier with an iPad/tablet). Come along and help pick the winner!
When: 7.45pm Thursday 4th February
Where: The Victoria pub, 28 North Hill, Highgate, London N6 4QA (tel: 020 8341 3290)
Event listing on LineUp
Free entry. Please contact Jennie Ensor on jenniensor@outlook.com if you have any questions about the event.
A bit more about the night:
It will all happen at a charming ‘old-school’ pub at the back of Highgate (that serves real ale) in very pleasant surroundings. Everyone is welcome, whether or not you intend to pledge. Perhaps you’ve already supported one of the books and might be tempted by another… or to join in someone’s last-ditch surge to get to 100% funded.
This will be a fun night with a chance to hear from some of Unbound’s wonderful authors, find out about a new style of publishing and enjoy the buzz as we get up there and strut our stuff!
Reblogged this on Martine McDonagh and commented:
